Photoinitiator 819

Photoinitiator 819 has a similar molecular structure to photoinitiator TPO.

They both belong to the cleavage-type free radical photoinitiators of the acylphosphine oxide class.

The photolysis products of photoinitiator 819 are two trimethylbenzoyl groups

and one phenylphosphoryl free radical, all of which are highly reactive free radicals for initiation.

Therefore, it has higher photoinitiation activity than photoinitiator TPO.

Photoinitiator 819 has high curing activity, long absorption wavelength,

excellent deep curing performance, good yellow resistance and photo-bleaching property.

Photoinitiator 819 is commonly used in white UV thick coating system,

and particularly suitable for LED curing coatings and inks.

Photoinitiator 819 is usually used as a better activity version of photoinitiator TPO,

and the two initiators are often used together in practical applications.
