Photoinitiator 127
Photoinitiator 127 is a new type, highly efficient and non-yellowing ultraviolet photoinitiator,
which is used to initiate the UV polymerization reaction of unsaturated prepolymer systems.
It has the following characteristics:
1、It has superior reactivity compared with traditional α-hydroxyketone photoinitiators.
2、It is less sensitive to the oxygen inhibition of polymerization.
3、It has low volatility and low odor after curing.
The photoinitiating activity of Photoinitiator 127 is comparable to that of photoinitiator 1173 and photoinitiator 184.
It is less sensitive to oxygen, has a better surface curing effect, and is suitable for low viscosity and thin coating UV coatings.
Due to its large molecular weight, low volatility, and low odor of itself and its photolysis products,
it is especially suitable for UV clear varnishes and topcoats with odor requirements.
When used in combination with photoinitiator 379 and photoinitiator 819,
it can achieve excellent photoinitiating activity and can be used in UV inks and inkjet UV inks.
Photoinitiator 127 is particularly suitable for various types of UV inks and transparent coatings,
especially thin coatings like copy varnishes.
The low volatility and low sensitivity to oxygen inhibition of polymerization
make photoinitiator 127 have good effects in copy varnishes (inks) and wooden floor topcoats.
