Photoinitiator MPBZ

MPBZ is a highly efficient solid type II free radical photoinitiator, and the chemical name is 3-Methyl-4-phenylbenzophenone.

It is suitable for formulations with low odor and odorless requirements.

For example, it can be used in topcoats, plastic coatings, adhesives, lithographic printing inks, screen printing inks, etc.. 

It is often used as an improved version of photoinitiator BP.

Photoinitiator MPBZ has the characteristics of high initiation efficiency and low odor,

so is widely used in food packaging inks and varnish, especially recommended for cigarette packaging inks.  

It is advisable to use together with amine-based synergists.
