UV Monomer IBOA

YS-IBOA is a monomer with excellent dilutability,

mainly used in UV coatings, UV inks and UV adhesives.

It has the characteristics of high activity, high hardness and low shrinkage.

It can effectively reduce the viscosity of the coatings (inks),

improve the construction performance and enhance the leveling property of the coating.

Using IBOA as the reactive diluent of epoxy acrylate oligomer

can significantly reduce the internal stress of the coating

and decrease the volume shrinkage rate of the coating,

thus remarkably improving the adhesion, shrinkage rate, impact resistance,

scratch resistance and weather resistance and other characteristic indexes of the radiation-cured coating,

without reducing its hardness and flexibility at the same time.

UV monomer IBOA has the characteristics of high activity, high hardness, low shrinkage,

good glossiness, scrub resistance, medium resistance and weather resistance,

low curing shrinkage to help improve the adhesion, etc.

UV monomer IBOA can be used as the reactive diluent for UV coatings, adhesives and inks.

It is recommended for application in fields such as metal finishing,

flexible plastic films on glass, engineering plastics and optical fiber coatings.  

Meanwhile, it is used in some special printing inks, such as outdoor inkjet printing

and printing inks for materials like polyethylene films.  

IBOA is suitable for manufacturing thermoplastic acrylic resins

with a high glass transition temperature (Tg),

such as the coating for soft plastic films like PET, PE, PP, etc.,
